So, as you can see, still no new scanner.
In the meantime, please enjoy this other New Yorker style cartoon, of my own devising.
My own favorite bit is the unhappy clown with the bird/rodent cage on his head. There's a sad, sad story there somewhere.

Why aren't you actually sending it to The New Yorker? You could demand to be printed there by saying "I'm an author/illustrator, dammit! You know don't know who you're messing with!"
