Earth 2100: The aftermath

So I hope everyone saw Earth 2100. Did we save the world? Head on over to the ABC official site and see clips and extra stuff, and wade through the sea of right-wing conspiracy buffs and bible thumping armageddonists to see what folks who were open to having their minds changed had to say.

Absolutely terrifying but brave...I especially wondered about the possibility of spikes in methane release (sounds gross, yea, you guessed I don't eat cows) and am reminded of the ever memborable Stephen Jay Gould's theory of punctuated equilibrium, where periods of earth's stablity are interspersed with short, sharp cataclysms. Very Borges structure too of fact and fiction interwoven. Thanks for boiling frogs???
